Research School, Teaching and Learning Conference - Truro,

Monday 23rd April

As part of the growing network of Research Schools nationally, we have been able to secure some of the top names in evidence-based education to speak at the event. Alongside experienced workshop facilitators, they’ll be providing practical guidance on how to improve outcomes for children in Cornwall through a better understanding of the science of learning. The day will include keynotes from Prof. Jonathan Sharples, Senior Researcher at the EEF as well as Marc Rowland, author of A Practical Guide to the Pupil Premium and former Director of Research at the National Education Trust. There will also be a series of practical workshops on developing effective learners through metacognition and memory for learning.

Tickets are £95 for the full day (£49.50 for members of Cornwall Teaching Schools Alliance).
